THE Ferrari Club of America Naples Chapter has announced the date of the ninth annual Cars on 5th show in Naples. Open to the public and set on prestigious 5th Avenue in downtown Old Naples the Cars on 5th  show promises to be another successful gathering of fine cars.

 

 

Over 400 cars will be on display on 5th Avenue from Route 41 west to 3rd Street. This year there will be exotics including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Maseratis and more. Joining The Ferrari Club will be the West Coast Muscle Car Club, the Porsche Club of Naples, the Corvette Club of Naples, the Alfa Romeo club and the Cool Cruisers. The variety of cars and fantastic setting is what makes this show one of the best and largest shows in the Southeast.

 

Cars on 5th has become the most well attended single day event in the City of Naples with over 30,000 spectators. This has also become one of the busiest days of the year for the many restaurants and shops along 5th Avenue.

 

Sponsors include Ferrari of Tampa, Naples Bentley and Naples Jaguar, Naples Motorsports, Gulf Coast Motorworks,, and Harley Davidson, and more. Over 30 vendors will also line the streets for the crowd.

 

Gates open to the public at 10 AM and the show ends at 3 PM with a resounding drive off by all 400+ cars. You don’t want to miss this show. Proceeds benefit the Special Needs Children’s Fund helping families with children with autism and the Ronald McDonald House supporting families with children suffering from severe illness.

 

 

Since inception Cars on 5th has raised over $200,000 to help local charities in Collier County.

Meet Country Music star Rockie Lynne

Rockie Lynne has appeared nationally on “Good Morning America,” CMT, GAC, The Grand Ole Opry “Live” and Fox News. His debut single, “Lipstick,” spent an impressive 10 consecutive weeks in the #1 slot on Billboard”s Country Singles Sales chart.

Lynne first made a name for himself when he released his critically acclaimed self-titled debut CD on Universal Records. He was named a “breakout artist” by ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America.” Billboard Magazine named him their artist “Most Likely To Succeed” and he has made countless media appearances, including performances on GMA’s Summer Concert Series and 14 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.

With a life long interest in music, this native of Statesville, N.C., has been singing and writing songs since the age of 14. After high school, he joined the Army, where he served for three years in the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg.

After leaving the military, he starting playing clubs and quickly earned an enthusiastic following for his crowd-pleasing live show and his chops as a lead guitarist. Lynne, whose electrifying concert performances have garnered him a fiercely loyal fan base, spent the better part of the last year touring and writing songs for his new album, Songs For Soldiers. One third of the proceeds from the record will benefit troop related charities. The inspiration for the album was his 21-day tour of Afghanistan, Southwest Asia, and The Persian Gulf, where he and his band entertained U.S. troops stationed abroad.

Lynne is co-founder of an annual charity motorcycle ride called TRIBUTE TO THE TROOPS, where riders visit the homes of the families of our fallen soldiers to acknowledge them for having made such an honorable sacrifice. The organization has raised over $200,000 in aid to the familes of the fallen.

With a lifetime of experience in automobile restoration under his belt, master car restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paint work on rare car collections owned by the likes of David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl and the DuPont family. He’s been featured in the New York Times as well as numerous automobile magazines, and starred in two one-hour television specials.

Wayne’s passion for cars started when he was a child, working alongside his father on such classics as Duesenbergs, Lincolns, Packards and Ford Model As. Wayne was instantly bitten by the Ferrari bug and hooked for life. Since that time, Wayne has been the owner and operator of three companies in Portland, Conn.: F40 Motorsports , Continental Auto Ltd. and Carini Carozzeria.
